Large Coil Vessel Intensive Masterclass Sunday May 26th 10am - 1pm (Melbourne Australia timezone) This class is online via ZOOM In this workshop, Hilary will guide you to design, build and decorate a large vessel with handles and curvaceous forms. Perfect if you want to extend your skills or challenge your hand building technique. Suitable for intermediate to advanced students. Some experience hand building is needed for this class. Hilary will be demonstrating sculpting a large vessel the entire class so you will be able to see her entire process and ask questions along the way for specific instruction. Hilary will cover: ~ Inspiration advice ~ Design techniques and considerations ~ Anatomy of a vase ~ Controlling coiling technique and her approach ~ Handle sculpting and attaching ~ Form and balance ~ Advice on glazing and firing ~ Q and A throughout - feedback on your technique This class is ONLINE via ZOOM. After booking Hilary will send you an email of how to prepare for the class, recommended materials and the ZOOM meeting link. This class is an intensive to help you form bigger work and does not include materials or firing. Class on Zoom TIME ZONE A temporary ZOOM recording will be sent via link to participants after class to be viewed within 3 weeks. May 26th 10 am to 1pm Melbourne Australia AEST UTC +10h time. There will be opportunities for breaks in this time. Please allow for a 10 minute overtime as sometimes this is needed.
